[NFBCS] does anyone know what is wrong with my phone?

Do you have access to an apple or a phone provider store? I once had an iPhone 10 X whose screen simply started malfunctioning. If you can get a knowledgeable sighted person to examine your phone, they might be able to determine that your screen is damaged. In such a case, you will have to get a new phone.

I tried, but still nothing. I think voiceover is what it's doing this because it keeps on saying that my focus is on something that it is not on, and then also it keeps on jumping my focus around

For example, if I'm trying to select some photos,  and then press messages, it will just do whatever it wants at this point. Maybe it will select another photo. Maybe it will go to Mail and try to email my photos when I wanted to text them. Who knows. If I'm very careful and run my finger on the screen instead of flicking, I can get it to act better, but I'm totally blind, and I don't know where everything is on the screen, and the fucking feature is available for people like me so it needs to work.

Apparently a new iOS update is now available and I'm letting it automatically install it tonight. I'm not sure if it will fix it. But I think at this point it's definitely voiceover. Plus, when I turn voiceover off before to get someone in person to look at these pictures that I was trying to show, they had no problem with my screen.

Another example is that I'm on a more professional style call, and I want to hide the keypad and press mute. It says I'm on high keypad, but then, when I press it, it press is five, eight, two, whatever number it feels like. I try to do a three finger swipe up to go to the'so then I can feel around on the screen and find the  hide keypad, button myself, but then it decided that means I want to hang up. I normally like to check through any messages for typos, but that is going to be impossible here as well because I can't get to where I need to get to change anything without it inserting, random letters, pressing other text boxes, deleting my draft, or doing whatever it wants. I have to go through that each and every time I want to modify a letter.

At this point, I can't type on the keyboard. I can only dictate. Then with effort, I can get it to read what is in a text box. I know it is wrong, but I can't do anything about it so I press send and they will have to figure it out. sometimes I can say select all and then delete it and start completely over.

That's it though. I finally figured it out when I was trying to share those photos. It just jumps everywhere and it's definitely voiceover. on Facebook earlier, I pressed notifications, but it pressed the dating tab, even though I don't even have a dating profile there. I want to read a text from Venessa, and it says that's what I'm about to do, but then it takes me to an automated text from UTA.

And slide to type, I believe Curtis said that is the name of it, is not working, because I am supposed to slide my finger until I hear the letter that I want and then lift my finger when I'm on the correct letter. But now I slide my finger and it just slides over every letter, and every letter gets typed. I know the layout of the keyboard and can get an approximate location but still. without voice control I would not be able to do most things now, when I have been using the same phone for years without any issue and then before that, I've been using the iPhone since 2012.

The phone is a lot easier and more intuitive than the computer. I was born blind and I know how to use screen readers. But basically I've been using my phone as a computer a lot so this is really annoying. and other people are doing that as well apparently. You can develop software on your phone, edit long documents, and basically do everything like a computer.

For some reason websites that might be an accessible on the computer or a lot more accessible on the phone, or they have an app equivalent that is accessible when the website is not. The Amazon website is very difficult unless I go to Mobile view while on the computer, and the app is a lot easier. Plus, I rely on this thing from my Authenticator app, or to get prompts to this device to confirm that it is me signing into 

I used to have a problem where my phone wasn't ringing, but it finally got fixed. It started happening ever since I was talking to that Apple Accessibility person. I did everything he was telling me to do, but I couldn't actually focus on the meaning of it all, and listen to him at the same time. But somehow,  my ringer had been set to adjust with buttons, and the sound was set to 0%. That didn't explain why it would sometimes ring and sometimes not but now it's always ringing since I fixed that. k) but this, it's definitely voiceover, and I don't know how to fix it. things.
