[NFBCS] Applications functions on a laptop

Hello Tracy:
I find that even if a computer does not have an Applications key that SHIFT+F10 will work in 99.9% of the situations where a context menu or right click function is to be executed. In Windows 11, SHIFT+F10 is just as good as the Applications key.
HTH
Cordially,
Curtis Chong

Yep, did that, but no joy. It went somewhere unexpected.

Try pressing Shift + Fn + F10.
On many laptops, the Fn key must be pressed in order that the F-keys perform normal F-key functions.

My husband's Windows laptop keyboard doesn't have an applications key.
Neither could I get Jaws right mouse click or shift-f10 to work. Is there
another way to get at the menu I would get if I had the applications key?
Alternatively, and maybe better, how can I be sure a connected keyboard has
an applications key before I buy it? Is it just a standard thing on what I
think is called an enhanced keyboard?
Well, to me it's a standard thing, but maybe not anymore.
Thanks.
