[NFBCS] Outlook 2021 Items Are Not in the Ribbon But I Cannot Customize the Ribbon

I can't answer your question on adding commands to the simplified ribbon, but I wonder if switching back to the classic ribbon would help. I find this a bit hard to find on the ribbon myself, but it's in the lower right hand corner of the ribbon. I get to it by hitting alt and then left arrowing once to get to file. I then back tab until I hear ribbon display options. Here I hit alt+down-arrow and then make sure classic is selected by pressing enter.

Note that I was having trouble finding one of my favorite options on the ribbon, it was accepting a meeting invite from inside the invite itself, and I got a lot of suggestions that weren't what I was looking for. Most people said I should escape out to the inbox and use the context menu for the invitation there. This seemed inefficient to me and wasn't what I was looking for. Someone kept suggesting switching back to the full ribbon, but it took me a while of searching on the web and exploring before I finally found how to do this as a blind user of outlook. I hope this helps someone.

            Outlook 2021 does not have all of the commands in the ribbon that were present in older versions. I can find them in the customize ribbon section, but this is not helping. First, it would not allow me to add commands. Now, it does, but they do not show up in the ribbon, even after I restart Outlook. They are present in the preview of the ribbon in the customize ribbon section, so I have no idea what is going on. Has anyone else experienced this?
