I'm not sure I'm quite following, but you can get the server settings (both POP and IMAP) for Outlook.com from https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/pop-imap-and-smtp-settings-for-outlook-com-d088b986-291d-42b8-9564-9c414e2aa040

This should all happen automatically, so I suspect I don't quite understand the situation.

BTW, my understanding of Microsoft 365 is that you get access to the on line services (such as accessing Word, Excel, Outlook through the web) but you also are able to download desktop applications. This is what I'm doing at home, and I guess at the office as well.

That is an excellent solution, but, when I tried to add the account, it couldn't automagically find the server settings, and neither I nor my boss know what they should be.

Instead of struggling with the online interface, why not connect your Outlook client to the email service. I am sure you have the ID and password needed to do this.

This will improve your productivity and save you some time.

I am working part-time for a consultant, and I have to use office.com to get my email from a new client.  I'm very familiar with Outlook on my PC, but I'm finding the online version pretty confusing.  

Can I find training on how to use it with Jaws?  Is the online outlook.office.com the same as Office 365? 

Not sure what to search for in Google.
