[NFBCS] "download accessibility software"

I looked again yesterday before getting AIRA to help me make my appointment.
The accessibility link went to what seemed to be another website by a
company called ESsentials. It seemed weird.

I have never heard of such a thing. I also am not aware of any accessibility
overlays that require you to download something. That whole idea goes
against the stated purpose of overlays.

I would be suspicious without more info.

Yesterday I tried to go to Labcorp to make an appointment online, which I
ultimately was not able to do. But, on the home site, there was a link
labelled "accessibility". I followed it, and it wanted me to "download
accessibility software" and accept whatever terms they had. I didn't
continue. I have accessibility software, Jaws, and I didn't see any good
reason to download some mystery software.

Anyone know about this kind of thing? Is it the accessibility overlay stuff
I've been hearing about? Does it cover Labcorp's butt, that I can't make an
appointment through their site, but hey, I didn't download whatever software
they want me to use?

Tracy
