Understood. I was told that in Windows 11, there will not be any need to
hold down Shift with the Applications key. Whether this was accurate remains
to be seen. Sorry about your situation.

Kindly,

No, I tried that, but that brings up the regular applications menu, which
isn't what I need.

Tracy:

Try Shift F10 and see if that helps.

Cordially,

I need to get into MS SQL Server Management Studio by using the menu under
shift-applications, which is not the same as the menu under plain
applications. The shift-applications menu has the option to run as a
different user.

Getting the menu is very hit-and-miss. I usually have to hit
shift-applications several times before I actually get it.

Does anyone use this menu and know how to get into it without several tries?

Thanks.

Tracy
