Please mark your calendars for a Zoom event to celebrate the life of Richard
Ring, who passed away on February 21 of this year. I had the opportunity to
work with Richard when we both worked at what was then the International
Braille and Technology Center for the Blind (IBTC) and later, when he worked
as a technology consultant and trainer at the Iowa Department for the Blind.
I remember Richard for his wonderful ability to teach people to work with
technology, his humor, and his support for ordinary people.
