[NFBCS] Embosser that can use single sheets

Hi Beth.

Sounds nice, but too rich for my blood.

What I want is more like the old Braille Blazer.

I guess I'll have to decide if I want something that can just use the
smaller braille paper, like the Braille Buddy. Or just keep dealing with
the problems of tractor-feed paper.

I only want to print out small things for myself, and almost all the current
embossers seem to be geared to much bigger operations.

Thanks.

Tracy

Hi Tracy

We bought an Index Everest. It is a single sheet feeding embosser that
handles 8.5 by 11 and 11 by 11 paper among other sizes.

Best

Beth

I'd seriously consider buying a braille embosser that can use single sheets,
11.5X10.5, or whatever the bigger braille pages measure, if the price is OK.

It looked to me like the Braille Buddy can do that. Does anyone own the
Braille Buddy? What do you think of it?

Or is there a better choice?

I currently own an Index Basic, which so far is fine, but it is old, and
won't last forever. And I could live without having to make several tries
at lining the tractor-feed paper up properly when something goes amiss.

I wonder if any mainstream printer still uses tractor-feed paper. I bet
not.

Tracy
