Hello:
When you say Windows with K to set a marker, are you referring to the JAWS placemarker feature or something else? If the former, isn’t that command Alt Windows K to set a JAWS placemarker? Thanks.
Kind wishes,

Hello,
When I attempt to use Windows plus K to start a marker in a document, I receive this message: “A protected document or form cannot be marked for later use.”
I’ve double checked my Trust Center settings. All checkboxes are disabled under Protected View, so I do not believe this is a word glitch.
However, I cannot be fully certain of this, because when I use Insert plus T, I no longer hear if the Word document is in Draft or Print view the way I could before. I do not get announcements anymore about what page I am when using CTRL End to go to the bottom of a multi-page document.
When I try to save a Word file as PDF, I am told I need to check that I have proper permission to do so, even though I’ve checked and see I have full control of the target documents.
This is on an Office 365 subscription. And it’s what I feared would happen with subscribing to the blasted thing, because it’s possible an update has caused my documents to behave strangely.
Any ideas?
Thanks for any assistance,
Joe
