hello Harry and everyone on this list. Harry is right that this is an important issue; in
order to work in technical fields, blind folks should be able to achieve certification using
standardized tests with appropriate accommodations. As president of the NFB in Computer
Science Division, I'd like to get a sense of how many folks here have taken a certification
test from Pearson and whether or not that testing lead to a successful certification. If you'd
rather write me privately, as opposed to via this list, that would be fine as well. In the
mean time, here are some additional questions, which may do more to show my ignorance around
this topic than actually shed light on the issue.

For the CISSP certification, is it necessary to get certified through Pearson or are there
other testing providers who can provide that certification as well? If other providers are an
option, who are they?

Is there a list of certifications Pearson provides testing for? In other words, how big
of a fish is Pearson in the world of certifitation testing?

-thanks
-Brian
