[NFBCS] Printer Recommendations

Remember cost is ink replacement costs as well.

That is why I choose a Black & White Laser MFC Brothers

When I want color I go to the Library.

Laser is better since ink last longer. Periodically remove ink carriage and shake a little and replace.

I bought this printer 6 years ago and replaced the ink only once since the first was a demo. That was about 2 years into it. This last a full size drum has lasted 4 years. I average only a few copies and printouts a quarter.

I am also looking for printers for someone else. It needs to be easy to use, but a lower price tag is also preferred.

I have a Brother inkjet printer, and it’s been pretty good. Both the iOS and Mac apps to configure it and such are pretty usable. No problems with it. I’ve also owned Canon printers, also no real issues there. HP ain’t what HP used to be, is all I’m sayin.

I recommend a Brother. Any of there cheap lasers should do. Pretty much just plug them in and go.

Friends don't let friends buy HP.

Hi,

I’m looking for a black and white laser printer. A smaller footprint would be great but not necessary. Most important is the ability to independently set it up, if at all possible. Does anyone have ideas? Thanks in advance.
