Asunto: Un poquito de buenas noticias para mí y para nosotros.



Buenas tardes compañeros californianos,
    Parece que tenemos muchas, muchas cosas para sentirnos orgullosos 
después de la Convención Nacional de este
año en Orlando, Florída, todas estas, Valen la pena
de mencionar, y se van a mencionar, supongo, en los próximos días.
   Sólo deseo compartir un poquito de ello en cuánto a lo que se refiere a 
mí,
pero no hacer demasiado de ello, o muy poco de ello.
   El 4 de julio del 2011, fuí elegido por unanimidad como el nuevo 
Vicepresidente Segundo
de la Asociación Nacional de Estudiantes Ciegos.
  Esto es algo que considero un gran honor, el ser elegido por
mis compañeros, tanto por los conciudadanos californianos como por toda la 
nación. Me preocupo más
que nada por mejorar las vidas de los estudiantes ciegos como
yo, y me siento muy entusiasmado de seguir trabajando con mis compañeros, 
miembros de la junta directiva de la Asociación Nacional de Estudiantes 
Ciegos, NABS, así como mis colegas, miemros de la Junta directiva de
la Asociación de Estudiantes Ciegos de California.
  Me siento muy entusiasmado de seguir trabajando, a fín de  unir a muchos 
estudiantes
en todo el país, y para ayudar a que los estudiantes compañeros de 
California Descubran a la Asociación de Estudiantes Ciegos de California, 
CABS. Al final del día, se trata de todos nosotros, haciéndo todo lo que
podemos para apoyar los esfuerzos de la Federación Nacional de Ciegos, con
el fín de echar una mano en donde podamos, y cambiar para mejor, la 
impresión y las
oportunidades para las personas ciegas.
  En lo personal, esta oportunidad significa mucho para mí, ya que, el 
representar a
nuestro estado es la más enorme emoción, y ojalá que yo realmente represente 
bien a todos
nosotros.

Good Afternoon  Fellow Californians,
   It seems as if we have  many many things to be proud of after this
years National Convention in Orlando Florida, all of them  Worth
mentioning, and will be mentioned, I suspect, in the coming days.
  I wanted to share  just a little bit of it as it relates to myself,
but not to make too much of it, or  too little of it.
  On July 4, 2011,  I was elected unanimously as new 2nd Vice-
President of  the National Association of Blind Students.
 This  is something  that i consider a great  honor, to be elected by
my peers,   both fellow californians and nation-wide.   I care more
than anything about improving the lives of blind  students like
myself, and am excited to continue working   with my fellow nabs board
members, as well as my fellow board members on the California
Association of Blind Students  board.
 I am excited to continue  to work to bring together many  students
across the country, and to  help fellow California Students Discover
cabs.  At the end of the day, it’s about all of us doing all that we
can to support the efforts of the National Federation of the Blind, to
pitch in where we can and   change  for the better, the out look and
opportunities for the blind.
 Personally, this  opportunity means a lot to  me,  but to represent
our state is the hugest  thrill, and I  truly hope to represent all of
us well.
