Asunto: Problemas al Tomar los Exámenes de Licencias/Certificación


¿Ha tenido dificultades para solicitar ajustes a fin de tomar un licenciamiento de altas apuestas o el examen de certificación debido a su ceguera? ¿Solicitó adaptación debido a la ceguera y se le ha negado? ¿O hizo arreglos para la adaptación y experimentó dificultad al tomar el examen? En tal caso, ¡la División de Servicios Humanos de la Federación Nacional de Ciegos necesita oír de usted!
 
               Una de las prioridades de la División es la de eliminar las barreras que los profesionales ciegos en los campos de Servicios Humanos, como los trabajadores sociales , consejeros, terapeutas del habla , asesores genéticos , médicos , etc., enfrentan cuando intentan cumplir con los requisitos de su acreditación profesional debido a la ceguera. Si ha tenido dificultades con su examen profesional, por favor llene el breve cuestionario que sigue a mi firma, y devuélvanoslo tan pronto como sea posible al

Have you experienced difficulty requesting accommodations to take a high stakes licensing or certification examination because of your blindness? Did you request accommodations because of your blindness and been denied? Or did you make arrangements for accommodations and experience difficulty when taking the exam? If so, the Human Services Division of the National Federation of the Blind needs to hear from you!
 
                One of the priorities of the Division is to remove the barriers blind professionals in the Human Services fields, such as social workers, counselors, speech pathologists, genetic counselors, medical professionals, etc., face when attempting to fulfill the requirements of their professional credentialing due to their blindness. If you have faced difficulties with your professional examination, please complete the brief questionnaire that follows my signature and return it to us as soon as possible to
