Asunto: Empleo de Verano en el Centro para Ciegos, Colorado Center for the Blind
El centro para ciegos, Colorado Center for the Blind, está aceptando solicitudes de modelos a seguir positivos ciegos para ser consejeros residenciales e instructores en nuestros programas de verano.  Ofrecemos 3 programas, El Programa Universitario de Preparación de Verano para el Éxito, Programa Gana y Aprende, Earn and Learn, de la Escuela Secundaria, y el Inicio de la Independencia en la Escuela Media, Initiation to Independence Middle School Program.

El personal debe estar disponible del 28 de mayo al 10 de agosto.  Las calificaciones incluyen competencia en las abilidades de la ceguera, siendo bien equilibrado, flexible, comunicador excelente tanto oralmente como por escrito, en equipo, y dispuesto a dar ejemplo.  Debe sentirse entusiasmado de trabajar con alumnos de 11  a 21.  El recreo desafiante es un componente entusiasmante del trabajo.  Nuestro personal hará escaladas en rocas, senderismo, piragüismo, balseo, asistirá a clases de artes marciales, y mucho más.     

Además, ¡todo el personal y los estudiantes asistirán a la convención nacional de la Federación Nacional de Ciegos en Orlando!

  The Colorado Center for the Blind is now accepting applications from positive blind role models to be residential counselors and instructors in our summer programs.  We offer 3 programs, Summer for Success College Prep Program, Earn and Learn High School Program and the Initiation to Independence Middle School Program.

  Staff must be available May 28 through August 9.  Qualifications include competency in the skills of blindness, being well rounded, flexible, excellent communicator both oral and written, team player and willing to lead by example.  Must be excited to work with students aged 11 -21.  Challenge Recreation is an exciting component of the job.  Staff will go rock climbing, hiking, canoeing, white water rafting, attend martial arts classes and much more.     

  Also all staff and students will attend the national convention of the National Federation of the Blind in Orlando!
