La Federación Nacional de Ciegosse Asocia con el Papá Noel, Santa, a Fin de 
Promover la Alfabetización de Braille

Baltimore, Maryland (18 de noviembre, 2013):  De Nuevo, el Papá Noel, Santa, 
ha alistado la ayuda de los elfos  en el Instituto Jernigan de la Federación 
Nacional de Ciegos,  a fín de mandar las cartas en Braille a centenares de 
muchachas y muchachos ciegos en esta época Navideña.

El Doctor Marc Maurer, Presidente de la Federación Nacional de Ciegos, dijo:
"Papá Noel, Santa, se acercó a la Federación Nacional de Ciegos hace un par 
de años atrás, y nos pidió ser sus ayudantes.
Estoy absolutamente encariñado con el compañero, y estába encantado de que 
podríamos asistirle en su trabajo.  La alfabetización de Braille es la clave 
al éxito y a la oportunidad para los ciegos, pero desgraciadamente muy pocos 
niños ciegos lo están aprendiendo actualmente.  Este programa no sólo será 
una Buenísima diversión para las fiestas, sino que también servirá un 
propósito educativo importante, ya que los niños ciegos podrán practicar la 
lectura del Braille, a medida que disfrutan de su carta del alegre San 
Nicolás."
Entre el 18 de noviembre y el 19 de diciembre, los padres de familia pueden
