Prueba a Nivel Nacional del Sistema de Alerta de Emergencia Programada 
para el 28 de Septiembre, 2016

La Agencia Federal de Manejo de Emergencias (FEMA), en colaboración con 
la Comisión Federal de Comunicaciones, FCC, llevará a cabo una prueba a 
nivel nacional del Sistema de Alerta de Emergencia

(EAS) el 28 de septiembre, 2016, a las 2:20 pm, Horario de verano del este,

EST. Si la reprogramación es necesaria, la fecha de la prueba 
alternativa es el 5 de octubre de 2016.

La prueba del Sistema de Alerta de Emergencia, EAS, va a ser transmitida 
a través de las siguientes maneras:

. Las emisoras de radiodifusión;

. estaciones de televisión:

. Los sistemas de cable;

. sistemas de vídeo de telefonía fija;

. Proveedores de servicios de difusión directa por satélite; y . los

la fiabilidad, accesibilidad y eficacia del Sistema de Alerta de 
Emergencia, EAS. El mensaje de prueba de emergencia se transmitirá en 
Inglés y Español

a través de audio y texto, que puede ser usado para crear un rastreo de 
vídeo accesible para asegurar que todos los miembros del público podrán 
acceder

Nationwide Test of the Emergency Alert System Scheduled for September 
28, 2016

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), in partnership with the 
FCC, will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) 
on September 28, 2016, at 2:20 PM EDT. If rescheduling is necessary, the 
alternate test date is October 5, 2016.

The EAS test is going to be broadcast through these ways:
? Radio broadcast stations;
? Television broadcast stations:
? Cable systems;
? Wireline video systems;
? Direct broadcast satellite service providers; and ? Digital audio 
radio service providers.

The EAS test will gauge the reliability, accessibility, and 
effectiveness of the EAS. The emergency test message will be transmitted 
in English and Spanish via audio and text, which can be used to create 
an accessible video crawl to ensure that all members of the public will 
be able to access this emergency test.

The FCC Public Safety Support Center welcomes feedback on the 
accessibility of this test. If you observe any problems about this test,
