La Federación Nacional de Ciegos está ofreciendo tres programas 
virtuales de la Academia NFB BELL este verano, a fin de preparar a los 
niños ciegos y de baja

visión a

convertirse en personas ciegas seguras e independientes mejorando su 
educación. Hay opciones disponibles para estudiantes principiantes, 
intermedios y avanzados

para las siguientes fechas:

• Sesión 1, del 7 de junio de 2021 al 18 de junio de 2021

• Sesión 2, del 19 de julio de 2021 al 30 de julio de 2021

• Sesión 3, del 9 de agosto de 2021 al 20 de agosto de 2021

Reciba Braille y otros materiales divertidos para las lecciones. 
Conéctese con profesores experimentados. Establezca relaciones con otros 
estudiantes y mentores ciegos.

Acerca de NFB BELL, el Programa de Enriquecimiento de Braille para la 
Alfabetización y el Aprendizaje

La Academia NFB BELL, un programa anual de verano, es apropiado para 
niños ciegos y de baja visión, de 4 a 12 años de edad, que:

• No reciben suficiente enseñanza en Braille y habilidades no visuales 
en la escuela

• Podrían beneficiarse de tener más exposición al Braille durante el verano

• Disfrutarían conectar con modelos a seguir que son ciegos

Si bien, el programa suele ser en persona en todo el país, estamos 
entusiasmados de ofrecerlo virtualmente en 2021.

  Attend 2021 NFB BELL^® Academy In-Home Edition: Applications Now Open!


    Enhance Braille and nonvisual skills with us

The National Federation of the Blind is offering three virtual programs 
of the NFB BELL Academy this summer to prepare blind and low-vision 
children to grow into confident and independent blind people by 
enhancing their education. Options are available for beginner, 
intermediate, and advanced students for the following dates:

  * Session 1 - June 7-18, 2021
  * Session 2 - July 19-30, 2021
  * Session 3 - August 9-20, 2021

Receive Braille and other fun materials for lessons. Connect with 
experienced teachers. Build relationships with other blind students and 
mentors.


    About NFB BELL

NFB BELL Academy, an annual summer program, is appropriate for blind and 
low-vision children, ages 4-12, who:

  * Do not receive enough Braille and nonvisual skills instruction in school
  * Could benefit from more Braille exposure over the summer
  * Would enjoy connecting with blind role models

While the program is typically in person across the country, we are 
excited to offer it virtually in 2021.
