Hello NFBF Greater Daytona Beach members and friends,
Unfortunately the Corvid 19 virus pandemic still prevents us from holding our friendly in-person lunch gatherings at the Speedway Houligans private dining room. If healthy circumstances improve, we will be able to meet there on the last Saturday in August (8/29/20).

Since our next Volusia election is being held in just several weeks on Tuesday August 18 2020, (with early voting a week sooner) we are fortunate to have two candidates for Volusia County counsel chairperson to attend and speak at our meeting this next Saturday afternoon.

Since I know that all our chapter members are registered to vote, I expect all to inform themselves prior to casting ballots. Our chapter will have the opportunity to ask questions especially focused on local problems encountered by blind Floridians.
After hearing these two speakers, we will conduct general business and also discuss interesting moments from the NFB National convention last week.
