[NFBF-Daytona] Next Saturday October 25,2025 noon NFBF Daytona Chapter meeting at Steve's Famous Diner

Greetings NFBF Greater Daytona Beach Chapter members and friends,
On Saturday October 25, 2025 , we will hold our monthly Saturday noon meeting At Steve's Famous Diner. The private back dining room will be open early for lunch and socializing.
Steve's Famous Diner is located at 1584 S. Nova Drive,  Daytona Beach, Florida 32114.
Please make early reservations with Votran      ASAP to arrive before 12pm and be picked up by 3pm.
All NFBF Daytona Chapter members are urged to make their reservation for transportation and Votran rides as soon as possible early this week.
Pleas try to eat lunch prior to our 1pm  meeting start time.
We will have Bobby King from Votran to explain new changes in Votran reservation policies, including  changes in available routes and times.
I wish our chapter to request answers to recent service problems  and positive ideas instead of complaining about past service problems.
If any chapter has suggestions about positive future changes, please present these requests with a polite and positive attitude. I do not wish to have our chapter develop a negative image of grumbling old complainers only interested in negativity.
Scott Larsen will be leader of this next Saturday GDB Chapter meeting.
Fortunately, Tangi Yonce has been appointed  and confirmed last month by unanimous chapter vote to assume this difficult chapter Secretary position.
Tangi attended the October convention and attended the Secretary's luncheon.
She and other chapter members who attended the Altamonte Springs NFBF State Convention will be requested to summarize their experiences there.
Chapter members who were able to participate in the October 15 White Cane and Blind  and Pedestrian Awareness Day should express their experiences.
Also, we will request pledges of anticipated attendance for our Christmas party, to provide the restaurant with an estimate.
Steve will discuss plans for future fund raising events.
Regardless of our recording format, I will request that any member wishing to talk during our chapter meetings first state clearly their name and speak loudly and clearly. I urge other members to stay silent so discussions can be heard without interference and especially for clarity of recording.

Finally, The floor will be open at our Saturday chapter meeting for any new business.
