The Radio Reading Service program for the Blind and Visually Impaired has
been eliminated in the budget passed by the Florida House of
Representatives. The Program provides grants to stations to operate this
service and services at Nine Florida stations.

The Senate budget still includes funding support. The House and Senate are
meeting this week in Tallahassee to reach agreement on their different
budgets.

If you want to keep Radio Reading alive in Florida, Call your
representatives in the State Capital. Let them know you are out there and
you want this service! Time is of the Essence.
