Thanks Mark, I couldn't have said it any better, although I did ttry! LOL!
What seems strange about the Lawyers fees are that if this case is such a
slam dunk as this Lawyer claims it is, why doesn't he take a percentage at
the end like all other Lawyers do in cases like this one? I so agree with
this being an education issue and not a Lawsuit issue. This reaction will
will make us look bad to many we are trying to educate through advocacy,
not as hot heads ready to jjump right after their money! Again, just one
mans opinion! KH

Amen!! I wish I had 180 thousand dollars to pay an attorney, at least
that's what the figure comes out as, unless you accidentally put an extra
zero or two by mistake. By the way, can I borrow a couple hundred thousand?
Just kidding, but seriously, it seems to me that this is in the realm of
education, not necessarily legal action. I think it is very natural,
because we are a society of dog-lovers, to want to give a dog, even a guide
dog something, even though you know and I know that she needs to stay
focused on her job. I think that is what needs to be pointed out to the
manager, as gently as possible. These people do it out of ignorance, not
out of meanness. Also, you might give people a bad feeling about blind
people which will set us back if you go ahead with this. Please keep these
things in mind before taking legal action. That's all.
