[Nfbf-l] FW: [Gduf-l] Sad news

When I heard the news about Rita, I was very saddened, and shocked.  I've 
known her for many years from when she lived in Daytona, and worked at the 
Center for the Visually Impaired.  I too was not aware of her illness.  I 
was told  by someone close to her that she didn't want anyone to know, which 
is understandable.  She was a wonderful person, and a wonderful puppy 
raiser.  I am so glad we all got to see her at Top Dog this year in January,
even though she apparently was very ill.  Just an example of the kind of 
person she was.  She would do just about anything for anyone.  She loved her 
dogs, as well as their handlers, and was always ready and willing to give a 
helping hand where ever needed.  I, personally,  will miss seeing her at 
conventions, and
I know she will definitely be missed by many.
