Shherrill, I hope this will help! Please spread this information to as many
people you know in Tampa that would be willing to take a minute or two to
call the inidividuals that can make a difference in changing our Governor's
opinion on this crucial matter for Florida's future! Thanks Sweetie, KH
Here are the ones mentioned in the emails:

Write to Rep Dean Cannon- force him to take a stand in favor of HSR.

'dean.cannon at myfloridahouse.gov'

Email the Governor:
http://www.flgov.com/contact-gov-scott/email-the-governor/

Call the governor's office at: (850) 488-7146

Email: Andy Gardiner (Florida Senate Majority Leader)
gardiner.andy.web at flsenate.gov

Sentinel is reporting that State Sen. David Simmons "said he planned to
lobby lawmakers to fight the governor's move and didn't believe Scott could
unilaterally kill the project."

Call his office and ask the receptionist to thank him. (407) 262-7578. If
he gets 20 calls, believe me he'll take notice.

Kirk,

I'm sure these are very important, and thanks for bringing them to our
attention. I see the headers on the emails, but I don't find any links.
Can you check this out and resend? Thanks much.

Sherrill

Subject: Important vote; urgent; please help

Hi friends, I thought I would pass this along to all! KHHi,

Attached are three e-mails I received telling of an impending vote
regatrding funding to different organizations, most importantly, the Library
of Congress and talking book services, the NJ Brailled and Talking Book
Center as well as Recordings for the Blind and Dislexic which is an
organization I use and some of you do too. If you are not a user of these
services but feel they are important, please contact your representative and
tell them to vote "NO". If you know of this vote, please disregard this
e-mail. However, if you use them and feel they are a very important part of
your life, also please write your representative and ask them to vote "NO".
Thanks for your time, and please pass it on..
