Hello everyone,

 

Today we received an email letter from Mrs. Jernigan. There is much expected
of our affiliate at this convention. After all we are the host affiliate. We
will have to staff the information table which will be close to the front
entrance of the hotel. From Saturday July 2 till at lease Wednesday when
general sessions start. We plan to make large print and Braille copies of
restaurants in the area. We can also tell them about the Publix and how to
get to it and the times the shuttle runs. Florida people you will want to
invite them to the Florida Suite R14321 which we must also staff. Depending
on how many volunteers we have, we will serve coffee and cold water and some
small finger foods. Again we need people.

And let's not forget, we will need persons in the exhibit room to sell
t-shirts and citrus candy. Denise Valkema is in charge of keeping time
sheets to get you all to sign up.

 President Dan says there maybe monetary rewards for chapters and at large
members who help out with this conventions.
