I retract my earlier statement. Here's a notification about the treaty vote
from the NFB members list.

Fello Federationist:
I want to again briefly update you on the latest actions related to
the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). The
Senate will be holding a vote on this treaty tomorrow, Tuesday December 4,
at 12:00. Today John Pare and I attended a press conference hosted by
Senators Kerry, McCain,, Harkin, and Durbin to build support for the CRPD.
These Senators reittorated the need for a bipartisan vote in support on this
issue. Senator McCain stated that those who are claiming that this treaty
takes away parents rights were simply not accurate, as the treaty was based
on the ADA which actually strengthened the rights of families. Former
Attorney General Thornburg rebuked the claim that this treaty will take away
American sovereignty as well. We must take this last chance to set the
record strait about the CRPD by calling our Senators tomorrow morning, and
urging them to support the CRPD during the vote at noon. Once again you may
be connected to your Senators by calling the switchboard at 202-224-3121, or
866-727-4894. Every call will make a difference. I look forward to
updating you on the vote tomorrow. Thank you all again for all of your hard
work. Jesse
