[Nfbf-l] clarification

Actually, the initial point you made was about sounding off on ‘stand
your ground’. But perhaps you may have stimulated thoughts on yet
another issue by merely voicing your thoughts on it? which is
exactlyhow threads are developed. The traffic goes both ways from what
I have seen NFB to FCB and FCB to NFB. It appears that many belong to
both organizations and the emails blend together. It is not that ACB
shows up, but that individuals who share similar life journeys
recognize a common issue that affect them or that they want a voice in.
Caribbean-American writer, poet and activist, Audre Lorde, said "It is
not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize,
accept, and celebrate those differences."
I believe we are all part of one blind community and each has so much
to offer. I celebrate being part of both.
Warmly,
Cathy-Alice Koyanagi
