[Nfbf-l] Be part of the World!

Newsline has evolved. Many magazines not currently available to blind people
are now available. The search capability has improved. Job listings and ads
are now available. Each state has its own content page to post items of
interest to its blind and physically impaired consumers.

As to the availability of computers, many who have them got them under the
auspices of DBS (Thank you Joyce Hildreth) or other agencies serving the
blind. With an unemployment rate of 70% or better, few blind people can
actually afford to purchase their own smartphones and computer equipment.
Those who are able to have the latest equipment are able to because of
government help or because they have some extremely good source of income,
either a job or relatives. Those who do not own computers are either seniors
who do not have access to training or people who just can't afford them.
