[Nfbf-l] Problem with flash drive:

Thank you. I should think it would behave just like a regular BARD book. I
appreciate the specific steps you gave me and will try them. Yes, the stuff
that's there I can probably get along without, so that's not a problem. If
it doesn't work, I will call NLS tomorrow and see what they say, and if
worse comes to worse, I'll just buy more flash drives. One reason I think
the flash drive may just need to be reformated is that the books that are on
it seem to play just fine on my digital player. Again, thank you.

In that case the bard book will have to behave like any regular bard book.

If you don't have a separate partition on your hard disc your flash drive
will be e:
Just format it if you don't have too much valuable stuff on it and then copy
the bard book on it. When you insert the drive on your computer, ideally it
will ask what you want to do with that drive. You need the last but one
option that should take you to the file and folder list. Let us see if you
are finding the files and folders on that drive. If you are, and if it is
just the file names that you are freaking about, hit the back space key. It
will take you to my computers folder items. One of the option will be for
this drive. Put your cursor on it and hit the application key. If it's a
laptop that key may be missing. So press shift key with f10 key. One of the
options will be for formatting the drive. Say yes or okay when the warning
appears. If you are not sure what kind of data you have on the drive, then
probably you can do without it.
