Thank you very much Patricia for that information. Tracie and Kevin Innman
have offered to give me a ride, which I think is very nice of them. I am
looking forward to not having to take the train.

I've taken the train to St. Pete several times, it great. When you get off
the Train in Tampa, there are folks there that will help you find the bus if
you need it. The bus stop in St. Pete is in a shopping center, with several
stores and a restaurant. If they are still offering it, the Hilton has
shuttle service that can pick you up and take you to the hotel. You just
give them a call when you arrive at the shopping center and they will send
their van to get you. You can do the same on the return trip. I would
check with the hotel though to make sure they are still offering that
shuttle as it has been a few years since I've used it. I would definitely
recommend the train if you can arrange it. Its also much more economical
then Greyhound.

I don't know how many of you have made your travel arrangements to St. Pete,
but
I am going and at this point I am planning on taking the train. Yes, Amtrak
does go to St. Pete--well, sort of. It goes to Tampa and then you take a bus
to St. Pete. The bus on Friday gets in at 1:40 P.M. Unfortunately, the bus
on Monday does not leave until 3 P.M and we get back to Orlando at 7:08 P.M.
The round trip price from Orlando at the time I booked a ticket was $31.60.
That is with the disability discount. The senior citizens discount is the
same. If you are interested in traveling that way, check with Amtrak at
800-872-7245. Perhaps you can leave on the train or a bus to get to a train
from your town or city and right now, the price is great! See you all at the
convention.
