Paul, that is a great tribute to your vision teacher. You should write a
story of your experience and share it with NFB as part of the 75th
anniversary campaign to collect stories, videos and pictures! Your story
will reach out to others both NFB members and those who are still struggling
with how their lives had turned out. Plus, your story will be insightful
for those sighted individuals who are experience such a devastating
experience in their own family network. You can teach how they should react
positively instead of negatively.

You are a very talented young man!

:) Darlene

Greetings,
I owe so much to my vision teacher. Her and I still keep in touch till this
day. Every single time I stand in front of a crowd, I like to think Miss
Torres. When I lost my site at the age of 17, she was the only person I can
really turn into for support. My family was too devastated they needed more
help than I needed. However, she showed me that my dreams are not over yet,
in that I can still do anything that I will set my mind to.she still
continues to support me till this day in anything I do. Thank God for the
vision teachers.

helped to mold me into the person that I am today. I still keep in contact
with them even though I am in college. How have your TVI's helped mape you
into the person that you are today?
