Hello Carlos and list,

Oh my heart goes out to you and Jilly. You have been together long enough to
form a great bond, but such a short time that it does not seem fair to have
to be parted. Even though you have been a guide dog user for many years, it
does not make this unexpected situation easier. Know that your friends in
Florida, especially those with guide dogs, are here to support you. Thanks
very much for letting us know about this difficult decision.

I hope to see you in Fort Lauderdale.

Good evening to  all. This past Friday I had to do one of the most difficult
things.  I had to return Jilly  back to the Seeing Eye because she is
suffering from a chronic condition called Lime nephritis. Jilly is only 4
years old. Your thoughts and prayers would be appreciated  as I begin the
process of applying for a new dog.  May you all enjoy the rest of your
weekend.
