I think instead of telling them, we need to show them. We need to get out and be visible so folks can see what we can do. I don't see a lot of blind people getting out there and participating in normal society. Maybe it happens and I just don't see it. Most of the time I see blind people just interacting with each other and stay in their own little groups.
