Madam President:

I apologize for the typos but this message was dictated thru texting.

I thank you for forwarding the message to the National office.
I’ve been to the last two Nationals, no need to share accomodations. This year, however, I had to. Fortunately, I was blessed to find a suitable roommate. I’m grateful to be going.

I wish everyone that has the same opinion manifests it here so that National’s organizers try to be more careful next year when choosing the venue.

Respectfully,

Diana Oliveira

Your message has been sent to the chairman of convention planning at our national office. Please feel free to email: officeofthepresident at nfb.org.

We are now experiencing what our family out west experienced coming to Florida for years. We no longer for now have a short trip to Orlando to attend our national convention. We encouraged members to take the opportunity to attend national convention when the convention was in Florida.

Madame president, this is really very expensive. Thank God I have T-Mobile that will supply my Internet needs. But the national office should consider all these extra expenses when they choose a venue for our national convention. This place is much too expensive! I am going because I have some goals to achieve for our chapter. And, of course, I don’t like to miss the national convention for the motivation aspect of it. But this is just too much. Please convey this to the national office. It just becomes an affordable for the average member. What is the national office try to compass with this? It seems to me that they are more focused on the more affluent members, forgetting that most of us don’t have the means to afford this kind of deal. I trust you, and your connections with the national office to speak up In our behalf. Thank you Madame president for your attention to this matter.

Info from John Bergren, chairmen convention organization, Guests will need to purchase a WIFI package.
When they log on using MGMRESORTS WIFI, if they have a conference access code, they may enter that.
Visitors may place their e-mail address in – no-charge low speed (for only an hour or two, I believe).
