[NFBF-L] NFB of Florida Legislative meetings for Wednesday, February 16th - 3 meetings on our schedule! All are invited!

Hello everyone,

Tomorrow, Wednesday, February 16th, has turned out to be a busy day for our
Florida Legislative team. We have managed to secure three appointments for
tomorrow, although the times are scattered throughout the day. Actually,
that's how it often works when we are walking Capitol Hill, so you're
getting a taste of the excitement and craziness that is "Washington
Seminar".

You'll see below in Camille's original email that the meetings are at 10:00
am, 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM. Please be aware though that there is a chance the
last meeting time may shift to a bit earlier in the afternoon, (I'll keep
you posted on that one). Camille has provided the Zoom link for the calls
below as well.

Having you with us on these calls is truly important, whether you can make
one, two or all three of them. If you didn't make it to any calls last week,
that's totally okay. Tomorrow is a new day and a great time to start your
involvement.

Here is our schedule for Wednesday, February 16. We will use the below Zoom
information for all three meetings. Please remember our meeting protocols.
Arrive 15 minutes before the meeting, so we can do camera checks and assign
priorities. All are welcome to attend, but if you will not be presenting,
your video will be off and your microphone muted. All presenters must have a
clean and clear background and be dressed appropriately. If you arrive late,
even if you are presenting, you will not be admitted to the room once the
meeting begins. 

Wednesday, February 16 schedule: 

10 a.m. meeting with Aaron Waldren in Val Demings' office, District 10. We
will present all four priorities 

11:30 a.m. meeting with a staffer from Frederika Wilson's office (South
Team). We need to present all four issues. 

2:00 P.m.  meeting with District 20 staffer, Johanna Leblanc. We will
present all four priorities; FYI: the Congresswoman won a special election
for the seat of Congressman Hastings, who passed while in office. He signed
on to ATAA, so we need to push for her support on this
