Dear Arlene, 
Well, we know for certain that Joe now has perfect vision and hearing as he now resides with the Lord! He is free from pain and will never  know suffering again. Arlene, please know that I am sending you my love and deepest sympathies as you move forward with your life without your beloved husband! We all think the world of you and we are here for you. Please don't hesitate to call me if you just need to talk. It is always so tough to lose a spouse and you and Joe have been married for many years. The two of you have had to face many challenges which you had done with faith and determination! You have also been blessed with countless happy times and I'm so thankful for that! May the love of Jesus surround you with the kind of love and support that only He can provide!

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our good friend and leader in the Deaf Blind Community, Mr. Joe Naulty. He was also the founder of the Melbourne Space Chapter, NFBF along with his wife Arlene. Joe was kind and patient with everyone that he met. He had a beautiful spirit, and was very dedicated to the National Federation of the Blind. Joe went home to be with our Lord early this morning. 

Ms. Arlene is asking for our prayers for the Naulty family at this time. We will let everyone know of the funeral or memorial services as they become available. “To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 5:8. Mr. Naulty will certainly be missed by all of those who knew and loved him.
