Today on Your Thoughts, at 1 pm eastern, "oh my, I'm so sorry," or "oh my, I
can't even imagine."

Have any of you ever heard these statements? Do they sound familiar? These
are only a few out of many, you may here from the sighted public from time
to time, when they encounter someone who is blind, usually for the first
time, rendering pity or sorrow, or,

is it compassion? How do these type of statements make you feel? And what
is your reaction as an individual to them? Should we dismiss it as someone
just being compassionate? If so, what kind of message does that send? If
not, how do you respond to such statements??

Join us today at 1 pm eastern, with Your Thoughts on something I'm sure
we've all experienced from time to time in our everyday lives called Pity,
or condescending statements, and how you handle them when encountered with
it, as we chat, and get ready for the week ahead!
