BT Braille

BT Braille is an all-in-one computer featuring an 8-key Perkins-style
keyboard and a 20-cell or 40-cell Braille display with cursor routing
buttons.

It contains all of the apps that are available in the BT Speak, including
an editor that supports contracted Braille input, a clock, appointment
calendar,

phone book, scientific calculator, a radio tuner, podcasts app, NFB
Newsline, YouTube streaming, Wikipedia, two dictionaries, email, two Web
browsers and

much more.

BT Braille also has user-configurable navigation controls, a faster
processor than the BT Speak, significantly more storage, a larger battery
and a built-in

headphone jack. BT Braille delivers the perfect balance between performance
and portability. 

 

About Our Presenter

David Goldfield has been working in the blindness technology space for over
34 years. He has provided product support, trained blind children and adults

in the use of blindness and mainstream technology, was a product manager
with Comcast's accessibility team and is now the marketing director for
Blazie

Technologies, developers of BT Speak and BT Braille.

organization/training facility that is nationally accredited by the
Association for Education

& Rehabilitation of the Blind & Visually Impaired (AER). Classes/training
