Hello Statewide Advocates,

I hope you are all doing well. I just wanted to send a reminder about our
next Statewide Chapter meeting happening this Sunday, May 17 at 8:00 PM.
You won’t want to miss this meeting.

During this meeting, we will hear a presentation about voting from Ms.
Laura-Lee Minutello of Disability Rights Florida. The presentation will
discuss:

   -

   Accessible voting options available for blind Floridians
   -

   Voting equipment and technology that promote privacy and independence
   -

   Vote-by-mail accessibility considerations
   -

   Safeguards that protect the rights of disabled voters
   -

   How individuals can address accessibility concerns or request
   accommodations
   -

   Opportunities for collaboration between election officials and the blind
   community


The goal of the presentation is to ensure that blind voters across Florida
are informed, empowered, and confident in exercising their right to vote
independently and privately.

This will be a meeting jam-packed with important information that you don’t
