Hello All!

 

Hope everyone is well and happy! I wanted you to know we are testing out an
adult module for the annual summer reading program! 

 

We have a great online program planned for this year, and I just know that
everyone will enjoy it!

 

1.	Here is the page to watch, we are filling it now!

2.	We follow a national theme, Tails and Tales. The books are for you
to select from and read. Activities are included for the families to
participate in. 

 

3.	Email reading at dbs.fldoe.org <mailto:reading at dbs.fldoe.org>  with
your name and patron number to sign up.

 

4.	Starting June 28th through August 8th, 6 weeks:

 

How it works:

1.	Each Chapter (1-6) represents one week's worth of books.
2.	Each week, read as many of the books as you can.
3.	Email reading at dbs.fldoe.org <mailto:reading at dbs.fldoe.org>  with
what you read and if you enjoyed it or not. 
4.	Throughout the program (at the beginning, in the middle, and the
end) you will earn incentives to keep reading! These will be mailed to you.

 

BARD:

You can have instant access to all of the titles on the booklist if you are
signed up for our Braille and Audio Reading Download (BARD) service. Every
title in the collection is included in BARD. Contact your reader advisor if
you are not signed up and get set up to download books directly to your
Android or Apple devices!
