Greetings Federation Family!

 

Thanks so very much to all who showed interest in, and participated in our
2021 Washington Seminar where we held 27 meetings with elected officials and
their staff members. We did an amazing job presenting the 2021 Legislative
priorities of the National Federation of the Blind. We presented ourselves
with distinction and professionalism during all of the Zoom calls and I will
continue to state how proud I am to be part of our amazing Sunshine State
team.

 

We will hold a Zoom meeting this Thursday, March 25th at 8:00 PM(eastern)
to bring everyone up to date on where we are, post Washington Seminar and to
plan our future activities. Our mission of advancing the critical
Legislative priorities of The Federation are far from complete and there is
still much exciting work to do.

 

 

Joining us on the call will be a staff member from our National office's
Policy and Advocacy Team. They will provide to us up to date information
about the Legislative issues with which we are all familiar.

 

Everyone is welcome to join us at this meeting, even if you were not part of
the earlier activities. It's never too late to learn, catch the Legislative
fever and to get involved in a meaningful way.

Denise, Merry and Camille, if you have team members who are not on our
distribution lists, please alert them to this upcoming meeting.
