[NFBF-Melbourne] 2022 Washington Seminar Legislative Priorities and Fact Sheets

Hello MSCC Members: 

 

As requested during our chapter meeting, I am attaching the fact sheets for
our four legislative priorities. These are only four of approximately 10
legislative items the National Federation of the Blind is advocating for.
The priorities for this year are: 

 

Access Technology Affordability Act, H.R.431, S. 212 

 

Medical Device Non-Visual Accessibility Act, H.R.4853 

 

Transformation to Competitive Integrated Employment Act, H.R.2373 

 

21st Century Website and Applications Accessibility Act 

 

Please let me know if you have any questions. There will most likely be
opportunities to participate in our advocacy efforts throughout the year,
for those members interested in advancing the equality of blind people.
