Joy isn't always easy life can sometimes be a little overwhelming for all of us.   But one thing we need to try and do is remember that joy is a choice we make, not just a feeling we wait for.        This world is going to throw a thousand different things at us, but remember God gives us so many reasons to have joy: "He's still with us and He's still in control".       Joy doesn't always mean that everything is always perfect ( or even easy for all that matter).   It means trusting that God is still good through it all... even in the middle of all the chaos or difficult times we go through.       I just wanted to remind you this wonderful bless weekend, to just take a deep breath and slow down.    And choose joy --- even if it's just in the small things that we do and have.    Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, take a moment to read the word of God, always be thankful, and what ever you do don't stop praying.   We don't always have to feel joyful to choose joy.
