Meet Patricia Maddix, Dietitian and Diabetes Educator:

Patricia Maddix has worked for more than 40 years as a Registered Dietitian and Diabetes Educator. 

She has been active in numerous local, state and national professional dietetic and diabetes educator organizations. She's volunteered with the American Diabetes Association, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, National Federation of the Blind and as a board member of the American Council of the Blind Diabetics in Action.

She is also on the Accessible Insulin Pump Task Force. She graduated from Oregon State University with a B.S. in dietetics and completed additional training at the University of California at San Francisco. Patricia has lived experience managing diabetes with vision loss.
