Our hiring process:

We have moved as much of our process as possible from physical to virtual
steps. So instead of attending in person, candidates can complete more steps
from home than before.

If you live in an area that requires wearing face coverings, please wear one
to Office Hours. During your appointment, you may be required to have a
temperature check.

1. Job application and preview 

Your online application consists of providing some information about
yourself, completing an online assessment, and selecting your preferred
shift. After you finish your application you will get an email with a link
for a 30-minute Virtual Job Preview, where you’ll learn more about your role
at Amazon and the final steps before your first day. No travel required. 

2.   Attend office hours 

After completing your Virtual Job Preview,  you will attend an in-person
20-minute Office Hours appointment. When you go to this appointment, bring
proof of your identity and employment eligibility. 

3.   New hire orientation 

After completing Office Hours steps, you will receive an email from KNET
with instructions  for your Online New Hire Orientation. During  this online
session, you’ll learn about what it’s like to work at Amazon, workplace
safety, and  proper attire to prepare you for your first day with Amazon.

4.   Your first day 

You will receive an email with schedule details. When you arrive to your
first day at Amazon, you will dive deeper into the details of your work and
learn important safety rules to keep you and your teammates safe.

How we’re responding to COVID-19

service partners, drivers, employees, and customers.  In these unprecedented
times, we remain committed to the health and safety of our employees,
partners, and the customers we serve.

Masks for employees 

We’ve delivered millions of masks across our entire network. They are
available to all Amazon associates, delivery service partners, Amazon Flex
participants, seasonal employees and Whole Foods Market stores employees,
and we are encouraging everyone to take and use them. 

Social distancing 

We’ve adjusted our practices so that our fulfillment center employees can
maintain a safer distance from co-workers. We’ve staggered shift start times
and break times, spread out tables in the break rooms on site, and suspended
exit screening to ensure ease of movement near main entrances. 

Temperature checks 

As an additional preventative measure, everyone will have their temperature
checked before entering the building. We check temperatures across our
entire U.S. and European operations network and Whole Foods Market stores
testing hundreds of thousands of people daily.

Warehouses and brief job descriptions

FULFILLMENT CENTERS – Work inside an Amazon warehouse, selecting, packing
and shipping customer orders. If you like a fast-paced, physical position
that gets you up and moving, then come help bring orders to life. Work a
set, full-time schedule. Shift options include overnight and days, and
usually at least one weekend day. 

DELIVERY STATIONS – Amazon’s delivery stations are the final stop before an
order heads out for delivery to the customer’s door. In this active job you
sort packages into delivery routes. To ensure we meet customer-promised
delivery times, shift times will vary. Depending on your location, you’ll
work a set schedule with hours that range between full-time and part-time.

DELIVERY STATIONS (Heavy Bulky) – This is the final stop for larger items,
like large screen TVs, furniture, and refrigerators, before they head out
for delivery to the customers’ doors. In this active job, you will sort our
heavier and bulkier packages into delivery routes. Our teams work overnight
shifts to meet customer-promised delivery times during the day. You’ll work
up to 19 hours per week on the days you choose. Flexible hours, a reliable
pay rate, and no surprises!

SORT CENTERS – It’s no small job to get every order from click to customer
door. Our sort centers are the first stop on the journey from the warehouse.
You’ll be up on your feet moving and sorting packages between trucks.
Part-time and full-time opportunities are available with a flexible schedule
of up to 40 hours.

PRIME NOW WAREHOUSES – Prime Now is Amazon’s super-fast (2 hours or less)
delivery service. Enjoy the thrill of working with a small team to select
and pack orders, and get items ready for delivery in an hour. Since orders
may include fresh and frozen items, it can be cool in the warehouse. If you
need flexibility in your schedule, this job allows you to choose from
available shifts each week to create your own. Flexible hours, a reliable
pay rate, and no surprises!

WHOLE FOODS SHOPPERS – Prime now offers shopping services from Whole Foods
Market, so customers can order online and have items delivered in under two
hours. As a Shopper, you’ll work in a grocery store setting at Whole Foods,
locating and carefully selecting items and packaging them for delivery. If
you need flexibility in your schedule, this job allows you to choose from
available shifts each week to create your own. Flexible hours, a reliable
pay rate, and no surprises!

Basic qualifications:

*	High school, GED, or equivalent diploma
*	18 years or older

*	The ability to read and speak English for safety purposes.
