Good Afternoon,
I hope you are doing well. My apologies for bothering you. My name is Matt Weihmuller and I am a music performer and educator in Tampa. I have posted on this list a few times previously. I am sorry for not being a more active member of the NFB, however, thought some of you all may be interested in an upcoming production taking place at the Carrollwood Cultural Center where I sometimes perform. Therefore, I have pasted the press release email I received below. Thank you for your time. I really appreciate it. Take care and have a wonderful day.

FILM SCREENING AIMS TO INCREASE ACCESSIBILITY WITHIN THE ARTS
January 4, 2023 (Tampa, FL) – The Carrollwood Cultural Center will host a screening of a dance documentary titled Telephone, which is a disability arts film project which aims to increase awareness about accessibility within the arts, on Saturday, February 4 at 8 p.m.
Telephone is co-directed by choreographer/filmmaker Heather Shaw and Dark Room Ballet Founder Krishna Wasburn. The film aims to transform the world's perspective on accessibility to allow for the full inclusion of blind and visually impaired people in the arts. The film also educates audience members about audio description as an art form, creating a new paradigm of anti-ableist artistic expression.
A hybrid Zoom/live talkback with Telephone co-directors Washburn and Shaw will follow the forty-five-minute film. The conversation will center around accessible art, creative choreographic/filmmaking methodologies, and the future of anti-ableism in the arts, generating thought-provoking inquiries and reflection.
Admission to the screening is $10 for Carrollwood Cultural Center members and $15 for non-members. In addition, audio description and sign language services will be available for the event. Tickets can be purchased online at carrollwoodcenter.org, the Center's box office, or by calling (813) 922-8167.
The Carrollwood Cultural Center is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization with a mission of creating culture through community and community through culture.
