[NFBF-Tampa] "Stronger Together" Concert - getting those tickets sold!

Fellow Chapter Members, 

 

As you know, our "Stronger Together" Concert is sixteen days away. That is
just over two weeks from now. So far, we have sold a bit over ten per cent
of the available tickets. We have yet to break even for this event. So, I
have been trying to come up with ways more of us can sell tickets. 

 

Each ticket has a unique number, as well as information about the concert

I have made it a point to keep a list of names associated with each ticket.
When I get the message that someone has paid for a ticket, I send the buyer
an email. The email has the unique ticket number in the subject and body of
the email, and there is an attached PDF of the ticket that the concertgoer
can either print or display on their phone when they arrive at the concert.
The ticket can be printed in color or black-and-white. Or they can display
the email. Or, if they forget to do either, well, I have a list. So, this
should go really smoothly on the day of the event. 

 

I am wondering if there are those of you out there who would be able to sell
more tickets to the event if you had tickets in hand. I can get these
tickets out to everyone who wants them before our upcoming chapter meeting
Saturday, or at any time after, until the day of the concert (or until it
sells out, which would be a great event indeed!). 

 

If you would like me to, I could email a batch of tickets to any member who
wants them. You could print them or forward them via email or text to people
who buy them and Zelle or Square the money to the NFBF Tampa Bay Chapter
Treasury. Zelle is preferred, as there are no service charges. Or you can
bring the money to me on Saturday. Please try to keep a list of names of the
ticket buyers, but if that is not possible for some reason, I would at least
have record of which chapter member had those tickets and turned the money
in to the treasury for them. 

 

I can also bring printed tickets to the chapter meeting, and am planning to
do so. 

 

So, what I would like you all to do is tell me how many tickets you want,
and if you want them emailed or brought to you at the meeting on Saturday.
You do not have to pay for the tickets at the meeting, but you certainly can
if you wish. I will keep track of tickets that are paid for, including those
paid for at the door. Remember that the at the door price is $25.00 each.
The individual price is $20. And the price to to anyone buying ten tickets
at a time or to members buying tickets in advance is $15 each.
