Day 5 of NFB21: General Sessions & Banquet

Welcome to the fifth and final day of the 2021 National Federation of the Blind National Convention! Visit the exhibit hall, join the general sessions, and don’t miss the banquet. More information, including ways to access and connect, can be found at https://nfb.org/convention.

9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.: Browse the Exhibitors list and join virtual exhibit rooms in CrowdCompass, or review the list of sponsors and exhibitors (Word). Thank you to the sponsors and exhibitors for participating in the convention!

General Sessions & Banquet

General sessions begin at 1:00 p.m. and will include elections and consideration of resolutions. Don’t miss the annual convention banquet at 7:30 p.m., which will include President Mark Riccobono’s banquet address and presentation of awards and scholarships. Voting Reminder

Voting for national elections and resolutions will be conducted via SMS (text messaging) and phone. To be eligible to vote, attendees must be current Federation members and have registered for convention by May 31. The phone number for voting is 667-206-6677. You may choose to program this number into your phone. The number and voting instructions will be sent via email to qualified voters in addition to being posted to the convention information page.

Application for the Survivor Group Co-Lead Position

As mentioned in Friday’s general session, the NFB’s Survivor-Led Task Force invites you to consider applying for the position of Co-Lead for a new group: the NFB Survivors Group. The application for the Survivor-Led Group is open until Monday, July 12. Please email questions to survivors at nfb.org.
