[Nfbj] Introduction and getting to know fellow members

Hi Ryan,
I just signed up for this list and I'm glad Amanda started this conversation. I spoke with my friend who is starting the Insight Beyond Eyesight for Jewish women. We agreed that as long as participants are open to keeping the conversations to Orthodox standards, anyone can join. Now that I see your e-mail, I'm thinking of asking my friend to start another line for Jewish men. We have a list of possible participants to start with already. What do you think? 
Also, as Sherley had requested, I am attaching a list of frum books available on bookshare and JBI/NLS-the latter I just started so it's not very extensive yet. If you have any more to add, please let me know. Thank you

Unfortunately, this list does not get a lot of traffic. I’ve been on the list for over two years now, and I think this is probably the second or third email I’ve ever seen. I am always interested in talking with other blind Jews, especially orthodox Jews, so feel free to contact me anytime. There used to be a wonderful resource for Blind Jews called Yismahu, but I believe it was shut down due to lack of funds. Personally, I would love to see some more activity on this list. 
As far as websites like J date, they are pretty accessible with the iPhone and voiceover and JAWS. I have never found a problem with them. Looking forward to hearing from you more. Shabbat shalom.
