CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST I




Reporting directly to the Customer Relations Manager, the person
selected will be responsible for entering orders, setting up and
maintaining customer account information, charging credit cards, and
maintaining files.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


1.      Enter orders for APH products received by mail, fax, and
telephone.

2.      Set up and maintain customer accounts.

3.      Charge customer credit cards and balance credit card terminal
daily.

4.      Maintain all files, and prepare files at year end for archiving.

5.      Assist customers on telephone and email, giving order status
information, providing product information, taking credit card orders,
and obtaining clarification of problem orders.

6.      Perform other Order Entry and Customer Relations functions as
requested.






EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:





1.      High School Diploma or equivalent required.  Post secondary
education preferred.  Experience may substitute for secondary education.


2.      One year experience required, with up to two years experience
preferred in clerical, data entry, and customer relations.



3.      Must have good data entry and keyboarding skills.



4.      Requires a professional speaking voice on the telephone.  Good
oral, written, communication, and organizational skills necessary.



5.      Knowledge and intermediate skill level with Microsoft Word 2007.



6.      Ability to learn and perform all necessary date entry skills
with Syspro and other related customer service software products
utilized by APH.



7.      Some bending and light lifting required.
