Seminars at Hadley Presents: How Diabetes Saved My Life

Diabetes, a disease diagnosed in more than 28 million Americans and predicted
to affect one-in-three by the year 2050, is now America’s most costly
healthcare issue. While the diagnosis of diabetes can be daunting at first,
noted entrepreneur and speaker Urban Miyares will explain his positive spin on
the disease and describe how, if not for diabetes, he probably wouldn’t be
alive today. Through an emotional and humorous account of his 44 years living
with diabetes, Urban will explain how he took control of the disease to become
a successful entrepreneur, a world-class athlete and an active member of
society. Whether or not you have diabetes, this presentation is not to be
